DDD history
DDD was established in 1987 by Kai Lange, the former General Manager of the nuclear medical division of General Electric (GE). A number of the present staff of DDD were previously employed by GE and have been employed by DDD since the company was established.
Until 1998, DDD developed a series of products as contract development for companies like GE and ADAC (ADAC is now part of the Philips group).

DDD has had the intellectual property rights to its own products since 2001 and these products are sold as OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) products under the distributor's own name.
DDD is now the world’s leading manufacturer of dedicated nuclear medical heart cameras with a market share of more than 50%.
Over the years, DDD has teamed with GE, ADAC, Marconi, Philips and Siemens Medical Solutions, USA.
